Blueberry demand has sky rocketed over the last years, and there is no end in sight for the increase in the demand. Global markets are growing at an amazing rate because of the nutritional benefits of the berry. The Newfoundland blueberries are considered the best in the global market for various reasons (do not have maggots, they do not require chemical treatments and carry 10 times more antioxidants compared to any other blueberries).
